Cartridge and media filters from Waterco and Magna-Flo, sized to match your pump. Supplied, installed and serviced.
The filter does the actual cleaning — chemicals only sanitise. If the water is dull or cloudy no matter what you add, the filter is usually where the problem is.
We stock both cartridge and media filters, and we'll tell you honestly which suits your pool, your water bill and how much maintenance you're prepared to do.
Waterco Trimline cartridge filter
Compact and economical, using a pleated synthetic cartridge to strain suspended solids out of the water. Ideal where backwashing isn't practical or where water is worth saving.
- Air relief valve and inbuilt airbleed

Magna-Flo media filter
Non-corrosive fibreglass and resin construction with bobbin-wound technology and UV resistant composites. Balanced internal hydraulics keep flow even through the media bed.

The filter and the pump have to be matched. An oversized pump through an undersized filter pushes dirt straight through.
Glass media instead of sand
Glass filters finer than sand, doesn't channel as readily, and lasts longer between changes. It costs more up front. For most backyard pools it's worth it — ask us and we'll tell you whether it's worth it for yours.
Cloudy water that won't clear?
Bring in a sample and tell us what the filter is doing. It's usually the filter, not the chemicals.
